My spirit animal ;)
The Loki Little Golden Book is now out! I hope if you check it out you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it! It’s Written By Arie Kaplan and Published by Penguin Random House. <3
Happy Year of the Ox!
When I was talking to my fiancé about this years animal he said he was born in year of the Ox. When I told him I was born in the year of the dragon he said “hrm, you seem more like a rabbit to me.” He’s not wrong… but still, how dare you sir! There are lots of types of dragons! Here’s a little piece of us both as our signs, a strong and stubborn ox, and a small but fiercely silly dragon ;)
Happy new year!
I’m so grateful for the work I’ve had this year! But I’ve found myself feeling less creative after work lately. I think I’m having something of an art slump when it comes to personal work. So to keep the creative juices flowing I’ve started to do little stylized character studies based off of old black and white photos. It’s a nice way for me to start trying new things without having to come up with a full illustration every time.
Thanks for hanging in there with me through the creative droughts as well as the floods <3

Little Witch Character designs based on my Halloween post :)
The Wolfman with a comedic twist:
This fall I was able to take a Character Design course from the wonderful Carlos Grangel! For the class I developed a cast of characters for a comedy driven 2d take on the story of The Wolfman.
I’m excited to share my character designs for this story and hope to continue to develop it in the future!

I am BEYOND excited to share the cover reveal of the Loki Little Golden Book!
I had the pleasure of illustrating it and I could not be more excited to share it with the world!
I grew up reading and loving Little Golden Book story time with my Mom! The stories were always the perfect length for read-aloud time and the illustrations always took me to different worlds! I am just over the moon ( and a little emotional :P) to think about a new generation of kids looking at a Little Golden Book that I was lucky enough to help bring to life!
I really hope that you guys check it out! Know that it not only came from a Little Golden Book fan, but a Loki fan as well :D I hope you enjoy all the mischief! <3
Lately as a fun personal project I’ve been working on a character design of one of my favorite ladies: Lucille Ball!
I grew up watching I Love Lucy with my Mom. She said Lucy was even playing on the hospital TV the day I was born.
I can’t tell you how often in my life watching I Love Lucy has made me laugh even when I was down.
The character Lucy Ricardo is a wonderful example of how a woman can be smart, kind, wacky, fashionable, classy, ridiculous, hilarious, driven, and a goofball all in one!
I hope you’ll stay tuned for more Lucy fun :P
